The Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs will enter into force in Tajikistan on March 21, 2012. Consequently, to obtain design protection anyone can file a single application at WIPO and designating any or all the countries members of the Geneva Act.

On the 1st October 2010, New Zealand tax rate has increased from 12.5% to 15%.

The Kyrgyz Parliament adopted the Law on the Accession to the Hague Convention abolishing the requirement for legalization for foreign public documents.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Justice, the Convention is expected to become effective in February 2011. Under this Convention, an official public document, issued in one of the countries adopting the Hague Convention and legalized with Apostille procedure, can be certified in the country of issuance and become valid in Kyrgyzstan without further diplomatic or consular legalization.
